Software Tester / Quality Assurance Internship at IoT Startup (m/f/d)

We are looking for another team member for our software testing and quality assurance team.

Must-have requirement: Mandatory internship for university

Location: Düsseldorf-Bilk

Start: by arrangement / immediately

Tasks

• Arranging test environments to execute the test cases
• Analyzing, writing and executing test cases, processes and scenarios
• Conducting review meetings, preparing summary reports and communicating with the software team
• Error tracking and bug reporting to developers and other team members
• Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Tracking quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Documenting on Confluence

Requirements

• 6 months mandatory internship required by the university
• Good knowledge of QA processes, methodologies, standards and strategies
• Knowledge of any automated testing framework (Cypress, TestNG, Robot Framework, Selenium etc.)
• Basic knowledge of any programming language (preferable JavaScript, also accepted Java, Python etc)
• Basic handling of Jira for ticket management and Confluence for documentation
• Ideally: Docker, Git, CI/CD, API Testing (Postman), Agile Scrum
